Are you ready?

What is holding you back from living your best life? Barbara Sitsch works with individuals who want to feel better and are looking for answers. You may have received a mental health diagnosis in the past that doesn't make sense or fit. You may also be taking medications for depression and anxiety that are not working.

Let's start at the beginning

During two one-hour sessions Barbara Sitsch will take the time to learn about your life so she can make a diagnosis and develop a clear sense of how to help you move forward and enjoy your life.

A holistic approach

Barbara draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Positive Psychology, Motivational Interviewing, Theology, and Philosophy in her work. Her goal is to teach you new coping skills that will serve you in any situation through the rest of your life.

Supporting your healing process

If necessary, Barbara can prescribe any medication needed to help lift your depression or anxiety so you can do the inner work that will help you live the life you want. In many cases, once you start therapy, it is possible to start tapering off medications.

Draw on healthy coping skills when you are in the midst of emotional pain.

Accept yourself and your current situation.

Find the positive side of an act or encounter.

Navigate powerful feelings by identifying, naming, and changing your emotions.

Be warm and understanding toward ourselves when we suffer, fail, or feel inadequate.

Harness the power of gratitude to heal, energize, and transform your life.
